Yeah that's actually a super simple idea I like it! I'm finding mine works really well but it's not quite loud enough I'm going to have to have a play with it, I'm ditching my rear muffler for a straight pipe so that's definitely going to make it hard to hear!

Yeah a few people have mentioned the pins but I've plugged and unplugged this heaps so far and had no issues, I'll be careful :)

Well there ya go! I genuinly didn't know that! The Arial has been pretty good although I lose coms into turn 1 at the island and going up lukey heights which makes sense after what you've said as these are the furthest away from the pits and the car is facing away. In saying that I'm not sure how I would route the cable to the middle of the roof although to be honest I may upgrade the whole system in the new year or start using the race control radio system as I'm often at the track by myself without a crew :)

Honestly probably not, I had trouble getting it loud enough and it's a bit clunky. The good news is there are a heap of communication options now, I'm actually using my phone these days with a motorbike Bluetooth attachment, just a cheapo but works ok :)

Hey mate, so far I've had no interference, just have to find a quiet channel to start with :) I did very briefly mention a feature where you can lock out other people on the channel, it allows you to talk to and hear a person with the same settings but not anyone else (although anyone can listen in) I'm not sure how to do that yet, I've got a mate who is a comms specialist who told me about it, going to hit him up today and ask him about it :)

Yeah mate it's just like a small headphone jack style connector :) same as they use on the external mouth pieces :)

Hey mate to be honest I've now ditched all this, if I do comms to the pits I use a Bluetooth motorbike headset in my helmet and call a mate in the pits who uses a Bluetooth headset. Costs bugger all and works well :)

Na, I know some races they run race radio but I haven't done one of those yet :)

Na we don't require comms at all, some states are trying to bring in the raceiver system so we can hear race control which i'm all for, but everyone is too scared to make calls and be liable.

@@TheNuggetProject Bad quality. The Hyundai’s drone also, so it makes it even worse to hear. I have to switch into 3rd to even get a little understanding of what they are saying under caution
