It is great, especially for its price! It's just too bright. If you are a treble-head then definitely give this a try. If not, you can always EQ down the treble

They used to come with velour pads which suited them better comfortwise as well as tonally. You might find a pair used for like 20$ depending on your location. I also recommend upgrading them with brainwavz xl velour pads, making them the most comfortale headphones I've ever worn and noticeably less sharp. Though still bright, I like their sound like that without EQ a lot.

I will never buy another headphone after using these amazing headphone. I changed the pads to the Brainwavz xl hybrid and these now sound so good i have retired my Beyerdamics dt770 250ohm, 990. And the AKG Q701 is never to be used. Sennheiser hd569 and hd600 sound like crap now. Comfort is so dam good now. Best headphone unbelievable these coast $ 40. These are great with movies. That is my main use. Watched Star Wars trilogy sound is wide and spacious. Great detail full wonderful sound. Bas and sub bass adds a nice touch of spice to overall sound signature. 10/10

Do you use dac with it?or just straight to the source?

During my time with it, I mostly used it straight as I had a neutral bright amplifier in THX789.

Can i use theme for mixing music????

I don't think so unless you EQ out the treble. They say headphones for mixing and mastering should be as flat as possible in its tuning and this one has an exaggerated treble. Having said that, some people say the boosted treble helps you find and eliminate harsh parts of your recordings.
