I stayed in the circular Chomdoi building for a month, late last year. Big sized studio, like you showed, and nice pool. And a few cheap eats places nearby, as well as Maya not far away. A drawback is that it's smack under the flight path, so you can get planes flying straight overhead all day, and until about 11PM. Not a great bother for me, but if you were doing online meetings or lessons, it could be a killer. Also a reminder to folks that a big space is nice, but also could get expensive to cool during those months where the heat is relentless.

i would love to see more proppertys a little more in nature, around 1 rai, around 35 min to chiang mai :)

Unit 2 over unit 1 by a country mile - no sink in the kitchen in no.1 is a complete deal breaker despite good location.

Either one you can't go wrong for the price. What Western city can get you a nice apartment [not fancy, but just nice!] for less than $1,000?? But for just a little more, the 2nd apartment is an absolute steal at $275. I also kind of like its unusual shape...more stimulating for the brain than your typical "box" type apartment!

Yep 100%, you'd have to go to a very small town in the UK to get a place under $1000 a month :)

I have a great city view from my balcony but I never use it - too hot during the day and mozzies in the evening. I think balconies are like swimming pools - clinchers when you rent/buy the place, but in reality they're rarely used...

Yeah that's a good point, but I must admit I use my balcony all the time :)

The weather is improving, with less pollution and cooler temperatures. A comfortable studio condo is available for one month's rent, which is the price of a week in most hotels.

Thanks, Jon both apartments were a great find. If I were choosing, I'd go with the 2nd. Kitchen sink and the view tip the scales for me.

I’d live in the riverside condo just to be close to the biryani place. Love the Thai Muslim food

Such good value that halal place, eat there weekly, the cow mok is superb and they do amazing beef and mutton curries.10K in that location recently renovated.should go pretty quick.............

Why is it that every tour with every channel there is nobody using the pools? Lol. Odd to me in such a hot country. I the U.S. those would be packed.

Yep, hardly ever see people in the pools :) At my place people tend to swim after 5pm when the suns gone :)

Yeah seems to be the norm in lots of places, some close at 8/9, I've always wished they were open a lot later :)

What's wrong with someone getting a reward for their hard work, Jon does great job in showing properties and pointing out the good and bad points. If you don't like his videos why are you spending time and energy do so and leaving comments. Put your energy into doing something positive and the universe will reflect that back in your reality.
