Love this! Question I may have missed but with breaking down per pay check are you a month ahead? Or if not how do you get to the per pay period to make your bills on time?

Oh and if you are a month ahead how did you do it?

No I am not a month ahead I just plan for the upcoming months expenses.

@@jenniferzink8303there are several ways you can start to get a month ahead of your bills. Option one is to add up all your bills and start of stuffing an envelope with any left over or extra money you have from your paycheck. Option 2 is to again stuff each bill one at a time. Say your gas bills is $90 every month. You would stuff the envelope for your gas until it reached $90. Then you’re one month ahead. You keep the money in that envelope and continue to stuff it until you’re are 2 months ahead and so on. My monthly bills total $1500 so I am stuffing my one month ahead envelope little by little $50 every paycheck once it’s at $1500 it’s one month ahead and I continue to stuff it until it’s at $3,000 then it will be 2 months ahead. This is done separately from my bills which I pay from my bank account. Hope that makes sense.

Hello! What is the name of the app you used to write down all your bills that come out of your checking account?
@NaturallyLizzie

I use the bill tracker sheet then I transfer it to my wallet app. It essentially a checkbook register app to mark the transactions

Hi Lizzie, if someone like me manages all the budget, would the other category be more broken down? Im a little overwhelmed between doing multiple envelopes to only doing two.😣
@NaturallyLizzie
@NaturallyLizzie 6 ай бұрын
Don’t be overwhelmed 🤗 if you want to have more envelopes to break down in specifics do that. I personally just lump anything random into my “other” It gives me the flexibility to use it how it’s needed instead of pulling from other categories to pay for an item.
