A male lion sneaks up to a lone buffalo and easily takes him down. The buffalo separated from the hard and paid the lesson.

It was still probably 1,000 lbs . Full grown zebras and wildebeests can get 600-700 lbs and this Buffalo was bigger

And that's exactly what this lion was. Lazy and didn't hunt. Probably came across the calf on his rounds and knew he wouldn't have to ambush or chase it.

They don't hunt nearly as much as the females but on big prey such as buffalo they usually will be the one to actually make the kill. Also I wouldn't call them lazy, they have a different job. They're usually out on patrols making sure no other males come.into their Territory and if they do they fight to the death usually.

The size of the horns and the girth overall suggest it was young. However, 4 month olds do not have horns that size if at all and aren’t over 500 lbs

I see that lion tactic a lot where they come face to face then the lion lays down on their back and reaches up to clamp down on the preys throat and hangs on until the prey runs out of oxygen then falls over.

After being eaten for millions of years I can't believe that these buffalos haven't evolved to grow 2 long horns like the rhinos or two tusks like the warthogs and 2 tusks on their back heels I can't believe that after all these years they are still so vulnerable The same goes for gazelles Why haven't they evolved to run twice as fast to outrun the cheetahs? As a matter of fact, the cheetah - gazelle chase is confusing After millions of years they haven't evolved to reach the speed of say 200 kph? It's almost like everything has reached its peak or an equilibrium and evolution can't come up with anything better and it's really odd After the evolution process from one cell organism to all the creatures on earth, major evolution seems to stop?

Because evolution isn't real my friend, and don't give me that nonsense about over millions of years buffaloes will have adapted horns like rhinos obviously they haven't changed a single bit over millions of years just like crocodiles who have been around for over 200 million years before even most dinosaurs yet they have been identical for over 200 million years.

There's no reason to believe the mechanism of evolution has stopped, but if you want to see a species change over time, then you'd best learn how to extend your life by a few million years. That, or look at viruses and bacteria; they tend to evolve much more quickly. I find "Survival of the fittest" to be a bit of a misnomer... A more easily understood version might be, "Survival of the good-enough." So long as a group of individuals live long enough to out-produce predators, disease, natural disasters, then that's all that matters for the continuation of a species
