Take a Ride on the Adventure Canyon at Bufallo Bills Hotel & Casino in Nevada. (30 minutes away from Vegas)
You emerge from a darkened tunnel and immediately hit swirling rapids that lead you up a mountain ascension where you enter yet another eerie passage. And then, without warning, you plunge more than 50 feet down a drenching drop-off that takes your breath away and leaves you screaming for more. As you recover from the laughter and thrills, your log gently carries you inside Buffalo Bill’s through the heart of resort, you see a lot of inactive cowboy and animal animatronics inside the hotel and the lights glowing on or near them reference that this ride used to be a target shooting log ride (an interesting concept for sure, we wonder what it would've played like).
The ride is currently abandoned since Covid and we're not sure when they're going to reopen it.

I remember this. I don't remember much about it, it has been such a long time. I remember certain things like jugs and shrubs and barrels and even things like snakes or whatever would be rigged to squirt you and get you soaked, and the person that could watch you up on the casino floor over the dock could put a few quarters in a small machine and you could press the button to squirt it on people. I also remember the lady on the travel wagon thing, and it would spin. Other than that, everything is a complete blur.

Damn, I remember this ride used to be a huge attraction in the late 90s/early 2000s and so much better. Their was animatronics. Those cowboy dummies you see there actually moved a bit, there was even a part where a lady was on a wagon that looked like it was going to tip over onto the flume. It's completely souless now, I wonder what future plans they have for this ride?

I was really into this ride when I was little, particularly the target shooting aspect.

I was wondering about that. Were you given something to shoot the targets from your boat?

@@Its_me_hi13 Yes. A rifle of sorts, but it was an electronic system. Probably resembled a repeater rifle, with wooden coloring. The targets were small green lights that you could see all over in the video. You would aim with a rifle and shoot, it would make a sound if you hit the target. At least, that's what I remember. They removed it the last time I went on it.

There used to be guns attached to the log ride but they removed them about a year or two ago.

The important thing about this park is not that it is 30 minutes from Las Vegas. It is just across the border from California, and it is tourists from California that it caters to.

I was there last year and the guns were working. It's pretty cool. At the end of the ride, you all shoot this display and it tells you who won. I went back last weekend, and they have removed the guns (they say temporarily) until they get them back in working order. Guests walking around inside the hotel can pay a quarter to use a machine to try and squirt you with. I always have a good time there. =)

I remember going back in 2008 and I remember getting in the log style boat and water spraying us with the lady in the tipping wagon and the ride with the animatronic’s moving and maybe the laser guns but I was to little to remember and everything seemed so intense and a little scary with the lighting I remember it being so fun I was only about 5 years old maybe turning six I wish I could have went on the roller coaster there I remember the Bonnie and Clyde gangster cars and have pictures with them those were the days.

I went on this ride a couple of years ago with my dad ...before the drop there was some asian dude sitting down and i asked him if it was deep and he checked and said "naw" and then MY DAD AND I WAS LIKE AAAHHHH

@TheCoasterViews we stayed there 7‐5‐24 one night before going to Vegas the next day. While trying to sleep, I kept seeing a shadow figure at the corner small hallway between the room and restroom. Later on that night, I woke up to a sling skinny shadow figure on top of me. I saw it clearly. My 7 year old daughter sleeping next to me would start trying to fight something off on top of her at least 3 times thru the night. We left early in the morning and not planning g to stay there in the future. I looked up hauntings at Buffalo bills and there is a video of two guys staying in the room with the same experiences

They need to either remove the targets from the ride and shorten it so it doesn't make the whole pointless ride through the casino, or remove the rode entirely.
