BUFFED Healer Skye Goes CRAZY in SUMOS! (Paladins)

Skye's 'Smoke and Dagger' talent got massively buffed in the Banners Fall update. It lets her go invisible again, and also got a massive healing buff! This is paired with the buff Skye got over a year ago which allowed her to have two charges of her smoke bomb, which greatly increases the uptime on this powerful supportive tool! In the custom Sumo game mode, Skye is now a powerful option who can rival some of the best supports when played with a good comp!

@@XarronChaos raum is kinda horrible right now, if you just wanna have fun run the 10k hp build with dr, but torv is just better so play him (or anyone else) instead

@@thegamingninja1656 My main tank is Khan and the sub tank is Ruckus....well kind of a situationship with Ruckus. The reason I want to learn Raum is to study him in different game modes to see which map is his best maps and so on then conduct builds based on who the enemy plays. Long explanation short: my game playstyle is like how scientists conduct experiments to come up with the best solution

Healer Skye is why I love this game so much. What other hero shooter can boast that you can turn you dps(flank) into a healer 😂. I just wish more characters talents were as drastic as smoke and dagger to the playstyle and role of the characters(even if they aren't meta).

tank tyra healer skye flank strix, flank nando most supps having an offensive playstyle so you can run them as a dps (dps seris being the most notorious) the talent and loadouts really allow for some wack playstyles and still be effective

@@chrismonge3215 As a person who picked up Seris recently, she's too notorious for this and I whole agree 100%. DPS/healing Ying with Focus Lens talent and a cooldown build is notorious as well

@@frankunodostres473 its playing with "my enemies cant know what im thinking if I myself doesnt know either" as a motto Its playing him in a very "bold" way, going into the backline and using your stealth to ambush instead of just running away, face and ambush the flank instead of waiting to be bullied in your backline I decided to pick up the playstyle and it is actually really fun (but only really effective in flat maps like fish market). It is a quite refreshing way to play him and if needed you can go back to his default sniper playstyle. It does require quite a bit of skill, since youll need the invis talent so youll need good aim to hit close to mid range shots while flanking Tldr. Its a stupid playstyle that somehow works and its the most fun ive had not just with strix, but all of the dps champs, in a while

Dude, i had a quickmatch last not on the splitstone quarry map as Nyx. I was actually clutching so hard and got 130k damage at the end vs their makoa 1 healer and 3 dps. But what really surprised me at the end, was their skye who had 66k healing, i was like "Wait, what?"

Hi Andrew! I was the Fernando! it was so much fun this sumo! First one i ever did on Paladins! for 70% of the game i was spamming the ultimate almost randomly/when it was just ready because i was recharging it every 15-20 seconds hahahah Scorch fernando in sumo is broken as hell! The other 30% was when I was about to die, either to save someone on the team or the healer or when it was dead and I had to make the team last a little bit longer on the point. I am looking forward to participate in more Sumo haha 😂😂

i played a koth game not paying attention to the characters i picked when i realized we was all dps characters with no support i had no hope but the skye on my team came in so clutch healing our entire team winning us the game

It would be nice if they did make a mode with immortal sups that can't contest the point and no DPS/flankers EDIT: and no Anti-healing, and AndrewChicken announcer pack EDIT2: or the support loses immortality when touching the point

In a way you're right and in a way you're also wrong. It's true that Khan can have a have a guarantee kill off the ult, but only if you're close to throwing people off the map or making the enemy hit the wall while they have low health with the health since the short DoT happens at the ult grab. Another tank you can get an ult kill with is Ruckus even though his kinda slept on. You can get at least an ult kill or more with Ruckus with the few seconds duration of his ult

@@rune7894 Yeah that is one way. Khan is my go to tank when the team I play with don't play tank. When I play Khan, I play with that one famous quote from the wrestler Braun Strowman: "Everyone can GET THESE HANDS" 😂

Feel like playing Skye in this mode is not really fair in the beginning, Skye can still deal percent-based damage and the tanks can't do anything about it.

love the videoo but i personally don’t think skye is fair for sumos.. all though she can heal her teammates her dmg output is rlly high and jus isn’t fair for how the sumo games are supposed to be played that jus my personal opinion though.🤷🏾‍♀️

I mean im cool that they keep viral slash meta while trying to buff other elements, but I also want them to finally adress enemy overguard and cc, the dps meta has gone far too long that is even longer than viral meta, and recent addition of (E)DA and netracell further instigate dps meta while breaking the original difficulty intention of enemy overguard system
