After a bit of a hiatus from high intensity due to focusing on longer distance running, I am back and ready for my beating around Sydney Olmypic Park. The lads did not disappoint we were dropping the watt bombs during this ride. It was fast, furious and spicy. Pain train as usual started with a solid bunch which got gradually whittled away during the night as the pace got faster and faster. Stick around to the end since I managed to hide in the wheels and conserve just enough energy for a cheeky sprint and bike throw at the finish line. Would it be enough to defeat the flying Frenchman Thomas? Watch to find out.

Fantastic clip. Can I ask what software you are using to be able to put the telemetry data onto your video?

Program called Telemetry Overlay. I used to use the free Garmin one but they stopped supporting the software and it no longer works. Telemetry overlay is fantastic…however costs a fair bit of money. About $160 AUD

@@joshkwan Thank you I will look at it. I too was using Garmin Virb but it no longer runs on windows.

You can get it to work on windows but you need to do ALOT of work around. Basically the issue is the timing sync, if you can figure out the correct times to input into Garmin then it’s no issues. I had too much trouble because I make a lot of smaller clips, so finding the timing for dozens of clips is almost impossible.

Hey mate, it usually runs on Tuesday night at 8pm. A group called Casual Cycling Group Sydney hosts it and posts information on their Facebook page. Most people arrive about 30mins early for a warm up and just to check out the course. Meeting spot is on Olympic Blvd near Accor Stadium.
