What Jin actually said to Kazuya is "Kisama no makeda" which means "you lose". Learning Japanese mostly from Yakuza slowly pays off.

I like the old stage references and new animations, but what i really love is the special interaction during supers. Like the different line or animation depending on the opponent. That's something i wanted "next gen" fgs to explore since the ps3 gen.

Kinda make sense Kazuys doesn't kick Jun when she's down since he does have some connection with her. Azucena of course uses MMA as a fighting style together with her dancing and her stage is raided by aliens and is built on top of a cursed treasure tomb.

@@SnowflakeSSQ Mmm nah I still think Kazuya still has a sliver of respect for her, it's like a tiny hole of light at the end of the tunnel to his heart that needs a trigger to fully open. Anime can have that subtlety like Adachi in Persona 4 who threatens to kill the main characters yet not once in his boss fight does he ever pull the trigger.

I think it was also used in Tekken 4 but I might be wrong since I haven't played T4 that much and his line was in Tekken 6 as well but unused because I once used a move-set cheat on Jin from his Devil form and I heard him said "Forgive me" while doing the choking animation

T4 in America is automatically in English. Which I found weird after 1st playing T5. And in T6 Jin says "Pitiful" with his arms crossed and his back turned. Saying it during choking animation is crazy.

Just a minor correction to the azucena one. She just says, "Nada supera la mezcla de azucena. ¿No cree?". So it would be "nothing surpasses (tops) azucena's blend" instead of "will surpass"

I missed the new running animation for Jack! That's one thing I've been really hoping for, that most characters get their own run animation. Seeing the exact same run animation on everyone looks really weird, people should have different animations to characterise them better, showing of their weight and running style.

It's interesting that they made Leroy's trailer canon. Makes me think about Fahkumram's trailer where Marduk defeated Armor King before he showed up, implied to be the retirement match Marduk set up. And then there's Kunimitsu's trailer, which is definitely not canon since Yoshimitsu still has his swords with him.

Kazuya choosing not to harm Jun any further after his super art seems to imply that despite all the hatred he holds towards anyone around him, and his focus on ruling the world, he does, somewhere deep down, care about Jun, and probably wishes he didn't have to face off against her in all the chaos.

At 4:31, Ganryu's arcade game was based on their mounted gun rail shooter named Dead Storm Pirates, and you can see the screen where you fight from Tag 2; you can also see certain classic arcades Namco made such as Baraduke, Phozon, and Burning Force at 4:42 to 4:45

It's always fun seeing what details you manage to dig up and right off the bat you prove the existence of aliens (unsurprising for the Tekken universe). 0:48 - How ethereal. An not just one, but two Tekken Tag references here. 2:23 - Love seeing Jun in her Tekken 2 outfit; gosh that's nostalgic. 2:35 - I assume that's the red hot boiling blood of King as he armours through a move. Nice little visual detail and cool always to see King get more love. 4:45 - Best Easter egg; that's adorable! 5:05 - That's... oddly sweet. I mean, it's not much kindness shown but this is Kazuya we're talking about. Even that little hesitancy says a lot.

Xiaoyu to Alisa altho their movie was not canon I would want that to happen. Nina to Raven, Raven to Kazuya, Hwoarang to Xiaoyu and Lars.
