Do The Right Thing (1989): Salvatore "Sal" Fragione (Danny Aiello) is the Italian owner of a pizzeria in Brooklyn. A neighborhood local, Buggin' Out (Giancarlo Esposito), becomes upset when he sees that the pizzeria's Wall of Fame exhibits only Italian actors. Buggin' Out believes a pizzeria in a black neighborhood should showcase black actors, but Sal disagrees. The wall becomes a symbol of racism and hate to Buggin' Out and to other people in the neighborhood, and tensions rise.

Same here…even basic mannerisms are so different…another actor in “BCS” unrecognizable is the guy in “BLOOD SIMPLE” John Getz is a New Mexico bar board member..

I’m Italian and from Long Island. I hate Buggin Outs character. He made a situation of racial tension that was not Sals fault, malt to a head. Even in this scene, he couldn’t accept a simple apology for a minor inconvenience.

Earlier in the film Buggin Is complaining about Sal's pizza prices, $1.50 a slice, $2.00 Xtra cheese, throwing his trash on the floor while bring utterly disrespectful. Cut to this scene and we find out buggin has money, but spends it foolishly on expensive flashy shoes. When someone come along a disrespects his property he suddenly has the same attitude sal had after being disrespected on his property, but sal was man enough and ready to defend his honor and property but was held back and calmed down by Italian coworkers then mookie. Buggin is on contrast nothing but talk, even as those he surrounds himself with pressure him into physical violence.
