Doesn't seastone totally prevent df from using their powers ? water weakens them. When they cuffed Marco at Mf he couldn't turn into phoenix anymore, same with luffy who lost his elasticity at Udon prison.

@@obmis_arraid21 It seems to me that, when submerged or touching seastone, power-users still maintain their ability in general, but cannot willfully activate it. For logias, turning into their elements is a conscious action (including going from human to element, filling a bullet hole, or re-forming after being sliced), for Zoans, they revert to whichever form consumes the least energy (in most cases, human form, but in Chopper's case it would be brain point), and for Paramecias, they can't intentionally use their power, but any body changes still apply (so Luffy cannot stretch his arm to throw a punch, but a third party could pull his arm so that it is stretched). Buggy, if sliced, would likely not sustain a wound even if in seastone cuffs, but he would need something else to slice him and wouldn't be able to just separate at will. I imagine he cut himself on something sharp in the area to cut off his hands, and once they were off he could reattach without them and then split into small enough pieces to fit through the bars.

@@obmis_arraid21 not at all, he still can use, but not full power, to transform a zoan type it takes energy, but in the case of a paramecia type he doesn't lose his body, luffy for example would still be rubber
