I've been thinking about the sideyard for many years and decided this year was the year it got some attention. I ripped up a lot of grass, topped the space with a few inches of compost and started planting. Not all of it as I have plenty of planning to do this winter. But I got some must-haves in that I found at local nurseries as well as Home Depot. The price was right and fall is a great time to plant.

OMG. We have THE SAME house and the same type of yard space. My side garden is not near as beautiful as this but it is similar. I have to have you over! You inspire me!

Love how things are progressing. I’m in the area so I like to know the plants you choose. Where do you source your flagstone? I’d love to create a similar path someday.

Thank you! I get the flag from SiteOne in Homer Glen. They have a great selection and don't mind if I buy by the piece as I'm able.
