I've been thinking about the sideyard for many years and decided this year was the year it got some attention. I ripped up a lot of grass, topped the space with a few inches of compost and started planting. Not all of it as I have plenty of planning to do this winter. But I got some must-haves in that I found at local nurseries as well as Home Depot. The price was right and fall is a great time to plant.
