How did you get away without installing a water pressure regulator valve? Even with the pressure regulator valve my hose sprayed tiny streams into the air. I had to turn my splitter part way off to get the hose to just drip. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks, and have a good day.

Loved the garden. I wish you would of filmed it a bit slower, it made me a little dizzy at that speed.

I find it difficult to avoid a leaky connection between the plastic hose & the soaker hose. What connections are used here?

I have a lot of wet shady areas so astillbe thrives but might want to dry aruncus in a dry shade area.

I can’t keep astilbe alive either, super dry shade under spruce trees. Will look for the aruncus, thanks for the video.

How are the flies on the blooms? I have Sorbaria Sem and it’s similar blooms are terrible for attracting all kinds of flies, not just the solitary bees or butterflies.

I’ve never noticed any flies around it and I’ve had it for several years. That’s interesting about the Sorbaria. I planted Mr. Mustard last year and it will flower for the first time this year. Curious to see who shows up. Thanks for the info!

I did that to my Charles Grimaldi this spring. I think I was too timid and now I can see I could’ve gone a little bit more aggressively. Next spring, I’ll do that. I always thought that you have to trim the top as well so that the roots are not too small for it

Oh can I come get a few patches of your creeping jenny ? LOL. I paid a lot of money for mine to put in containers this year, but I think it will come back for me so maybe it was money well spent. I am zone 6a.

Your angels trumpet looks very healthy and happy. Last fall, based on one of your videos, I reduced the root ball of my very large angels trumpet by half and rooted 5 cuttings from it as insurance against what felt like me attempting to kill it. 😂. Then I worried all winter about whether it would leaf out again in the spring. I’m happy to report that it survived. Both it and the 5 cuttings are growing well. Would love to see your angels trumpet later in the season in bloom. Thank you for taking the time to make and post your videos.

Hi Heather! These aqua pots are definitely game changers 🙌 Always have to include Hibiscus into garden settings. Just beautiful and forever giving during their season! 🌸 What is that in the pot behind you? I love how you angle planted them! 💚 I have a red gourd birdhouse. Love it! Sorry for my absence. I was away for awhile, dealing with an unfortunate situation, but I'm back now, and all caught up with my landscaping and filling my deck planters! Yay! Hugs to you ❤

Yes, I let mine dry out in the soil by withholding water once the foliage browns out. I harvest a week or so after.

Just remember a garden this big and beautiful needs lots of staff to maintain! Our small gardens may not be as grand but I’m proud that I manage it all myself and it still looks “good enough” in spite of constant battle with weeds, bugs, disease, etc 😅

I have the same tree but mine doesn’t sprout suckers like that or water sprouts. Suckers/water sprouts are a sign of stress or trauma to the tree. My prairifire is a one stem though.

would there be any way you could take this same video, and just label all the varieties as you go by them? I am learning quite a bit about hydrangeas, but when you go by the big mound of blue lacecaps, my only guess is twist n shout and it could be so many other things.

What zone are you in? I live in Ohio and I just bought some of this because I’m trying to grow as many sages as possible, and I don’t think it can survive the winter, but I am wondering if I made cuttings if it would or if I should just start over. Also wondered if it could be brought in doors for the winter and if so, what it would need.
