Thanks Charles for a brilliant presentation. Kudos and thanks to the beautiful and sharp Ngozi Adichie. I think she speaks for all truth loving and detribalized Nigerians everywhere. That the 2023 elections is hugely compromised through bribery and corruption is not a rumour. It is actually the bare truth and reeks of wanton impunity! As for Prof. Soyinka's allusion to Datti Ahmed's speech as akin to fascism, I am still blown away by this assertion and don't see any need for it neither do i agree with those calling for him to be charged with treason.

In Nigeria, it is a scam. Education comes in different forms, but it's quite unfortunate that we only look at formal education as the real education. Beyond formal education is morals, value and virtue which cut across every other form of education. That is what is found in this lady. Our professor lack all these, what then are our professors, passing to the younger generation. When a whole professor tells you white is black just because he has formal education. We have a long way to go.... We all just need to value right thing and do the right thing irrespective of your status. Truth is truth, lie is lie.

@@fallysfoodhut *_It's a tragedy to the fate of this nation that the Igbo person has been in denial about the problem they created for this country since 1966. Instead, they play the victim._* In May 1966, General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, Nigeria’s first military head of state promulgated the infamous Decree No. 34 of 1966, the “unification decree.” The decree effectively did away with the federal system of government practised by Nigeria since its independence from British colonial rule in 1960. In its place, the general instituted a unitary system of government as a way of discouraging “tribal loyalties and activities which promote tribal consciousness and sectional interests and which must give way to the urgent task of national reconstruction.” The decree suspended aspects of the Nigerian constitution and, with it, the military government arrogated to itself wide discretionary powers. Unknown to the general, the effects of this decree would reverberate well into Nigeria’s sixtieth year as an independent nation..

@Masud Saleh. It is people like you that turn everything into Tribalism. So because of one man's decision, a whole tribe should be punished? Then perhaps the Hausas should be punished because of Abacha's Kleptocratic rule, the Yorubas should be punished because of Tinubu's drug involvement, the list goes on and on and on. Stop thinking like a tribal bigot and focus on the actual issue. The election was shamelessly and evidently flawed and Nigerians are demanding for justice to prevail.

What do you expect from her. Ti support Ibo like her. She is a fan's of IPOB, If it were to be that Obi won,and other ate contesting, would she write that kind of letter? That is a question you should ask yourselves. That is to tell you that she is fighting for her IBO tribe not Nigerian. Let's be realistic for once. Can anyone of you imagine that obi will win in Hausas land? He can never . Can Datti influence vote in Hausas land ? That is NO. Who knows Datti before in Hausas land? Nobody. @@Betehadeso *_It's a tragedy to the fate of this nation that the Igbo person has been in denial about the problem they created for this country since 1966.

Everything she said here and the letter are mere hearsay which she did not witness. Very obvious she's talking as an ibo girl and pained because her candidate lost

@@chudy-priestlyakpulonu568 *_It's a tragedy to the fate of this nation that the Igbo person has been in denial about the problem they created for this country since 1966.

Am spectacularly elated, flabbergasted and at the same time dumbfounded. What a combination of beauty with intelligence and brilliance ..., an awesome eloquence, smoothie presentation. The pride of a daughter, the pride of a wife, the pride of a mother, the pride of a Woman, and the pride of a Nation. Nothing is wrong with Nigeria, but the unruly, atrocious, unrepentant, greedy primordial parasites lot in the corridors of power. May God again, bless Nigeria..., Amen.

That was not an essential criticism, l don't leave in Nigeria and l was not in Nigeria, but witnessed physically, mentally, photographically, spiritually saw the manipulation as it was being put into actions. We saw the action and reaction of the police people, and the contestants, we saw the attitude of the cjn, tinunbu, yakubu. And buhari and everyone involved in the election. If he's Capable, l mean tinunbu, let him sue her, then we all will have to attend the courts. So if music is the fruit of love, my dear good writer, play on.
