During the campaign, Peter Obi kept talking about how he will make agriculture the new oil of Nigeria. He knows almost all the sizes of land of the states in the north and what they can produce. He went to all the states of Nigeria talking to people how he will revolutionize agriculture and dishing out statistics. While the other candidate was busy saying that all he wanted to do was dance. That candidate even mocked statistics. (He said na statistics we go chop?). Here is Baba Bugaje demanding statistics from a man that mocked statistics. Peter Obi perfectly fits into what Usman Baraje is talking about having statistics and focusing on agriculture. My question is did Usman Bugaje suppot Obi? Probably he did not and if he did not it may not be far from being the fact that Obi is a southern Christian. Nigeria is a very funny country. We will support very incompetent people into power over other very competent candidates because of tribe or religion and we now want them to perform wonders. The Holy Book tells me that what you sow is what you reap.

Peter Gregory Obi was the best governor in Nigeria in his time in what is called Human Development Index (HDI) which is the statistics Baba is talking about. Obi was first in education, security, pulling people out of poverty and also won Bill Gate price for health. Under Obi the then IG of police declared Anambra as the safest sate in Nigeria. Obi still remains the only governor in Nigeria that rejected land given to him in Anambra and Abuja. Obi remains the only ex governor in Nigeria that I know who doesn't collect one kobo as pension from the state he governed. Obi still remains the only ex governor who after many years of leaving office who is still boasting that he never embezzled one kobo of the state. Obi still remains the only ex governor in Nigeria who Left the kind of money he left for his successor. Others would empty the treasury while leaving but Obi left billions. Obi never borrowed money through out his eight years in office. I don't think if any other governor in Nigeria has done it. Obi cut down the cost of governance very significantly. It's not about removing subsidy, but how? And what plans have you laid before removing the subsidy? Do you just remove the subsidy without making any plans? How can you remove the subsidy on the very first day of your inauguration? Wow! This is unacceptable...it is obvious that they are not following any laid plan...the removal. of subsidy was meant to solve the corruption issue in regards to the subsidy...but Tinibu's regime has shown to be very corrupt, spending money lavishly, do their action even show that Nigeria is in trouble? Urgent things to be done, stop the use of dollars in Nigeria economy except for selling of oil, open Boarders, cutdown importation clearance rate by CUSTOM, stop CUSTOM from the use of dollars to clear importation goods, EFCC shouldn't only be going after NIGERIA youths but face the main people who receives govt money and spend it on papers report which can not be verified., Recovered funds should be reintegrated back to agriculture in other to boost food security., Or arm forces funds/security funds should be based on EFCC recoverd funds/property to boost internal security, you will see Corruption will reduce to zero, then we will have a good govt and good governance.

What you are saying and debating is true. Truly , Rome wasn't built in a day but there must be an articulate layout as to the trajectory the Nation is heading . Not only that Tinubu must put in place an emergency mechanism by which the trending suffering can be ameliorated and stop attending all other submits which have no positive impact on the current economic crisis in Nigeria. The people have reached a point that anytime from now they can breakloose.. That potential devepment is now quite pappable. Every sector in Nigeria is suffering and getting worse by the day, not only the fuel subsidy. Now Nepa is telling us that they are owing 1.3 trillion and can no longer tolerate subsidies. Imagine what will happen soon..nepa bills will increase, in addition to the fuel prices, in addition to food prices, plus insecurity, yahoo boys are killing our young ones everyday in the name of rituals...universities fees have tripled, those who do not be money cannot go to school... Everything is removed from every sector. As if the Govt deliberately came to punish Nigerians for not voting for them.

If buhari was still in power by July last year he wouldn’t have still removed the subsidy because he knows the repercussions will engulf him, but Tinubu the “emilokan” flippantly declared “subsidy is gone!” On his Inauguration Day because he was so happy like a baby in a candy store without setting up a cabinet, consultations and checking the balance sheet of the country. That is why we are here now, it is the effect of his actions that we are all feeling let nobody lie to you.

Buhari stopped the subsidy, Tinubu implemented it because there was no provision for it in the budget that Buhari presented and approved by both houses.

But you failed to recall the supplementary budgets (never covered by the original budget) Tinubu sent to the National Assembly and was rubber stamped. I think that is a very cheap excuse for that man. Nothing stopped Tinubu to planned the government as to benefit the masses.
