Buick lesabre surging, part 2

I checked, MAF, MAP, O2, FUEL REGULATOR, EVAP, SMOKE THE INTAKE. NONE. IT WAS THE PCV VALVE MISSING OR BAD and or Too much fuel vapor

Thank. Positive crankcase ventilation (autospell) Yep. Somehow it was missing, and that what made it act weird. Getting rich fuel from somewhere which was the pcv.

This same thing caused out car to stall and not restart, got one from pick a part for ten dollars and now car is happy, Liked your vid Btw, it's a Pcv valve, not pvc

Try cleaning the throttle plate and throat. A little grime around the throat can restrict enough air to give inacurate readings to the computer.

That wiggle test you showed. I did that on mine and some liquid came out but my car is running a lean code. Either way, what do I replace or do to stop that piece from having to much

PCV . Postive cranckcase ventilation. Replace that.

were you surging idle? mine is surging in park but doesnt go to high maybe 1400 but then goes down like it wants to die. drops to 3-5 rpm for a bit then jumps to bout 8 to settle

No. Just reving it, then it got that extra fuel fumes into the intake. So that was the cause of it. Just getting more rich and couldn't idle.

Hey, did changing the PCV valve work for you? Wasn’t able to find the part 3 video. I’m having the same sort of issue on my 2002 Lesabre. Getting hesitations around 2500 RPM. Check engine light went on for the O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Had my fuel pump, fuel filter, air filters, catalytic converter all replaced because the car has been sitting for 2 years

Yeah. Mine was stuck wide open. So it was running too rich from the blow by. Replaced it and it's better now.

Mine is running uo to 60 and bogging down. Dies when going 30 or lower.

I don't think you had pcv valve in their to begin with, it didn't come out with the map sensor holder nor was it in the plenum from what I saw, regardless I hope u figure it out

@@jrfmechanical3058 would if I could but JUST when I got everything buttoned together and for the first fire (which surged idle.. again.. and somehow the MAP sensor mounting came back loose?) I had to take my fiancee to the hospital.. her arm and shoulder were bothering her all weekend
