When the front propeller gives the thrust a high pressure region is developed infront of the second propeller behind it, which results in more power consumption by the two motors that are arranged in the second row. Inturn causes unnecessary power loss. Also a considerable amount of thrust is lost by hitting the blades of second propeller. If you were using a turbine engine which is covered on the sides, this model would have worked by carefully calculating the angle of turbine blades in both rows. By the noise it makes you are not even getting 20% efficiency. I would suggest a redesign with the same motors. Adding to the above, the propellers in the back is similar to a plane trying to take off during heavy wind. That's why you see propellers placed parallel in a US bomber or a chinook helicopter.

the motors should be in a push pull convjguration so that they are not being stifled and blocked. plus the front motor is pulling air and the back motor is pushing air. this way they assist each other.

I say something as a CFD engineer, instead of having fans one behind the other, have it one over the other, by that you reduce turbulence and noise, also aerodynamically efficient. Nevertheless great work!

if you staggered the motors instead of having them in a line, they would become more efficient. Also, if you make some ducts to put around the props, it will direct the air flow and seriously increase the thrust. But awesome project man!

Decent. Try this with a single mid size mini kerosene turbine engine. Twice if not triple the thrust. More modifications though but very much faster. Also you could try a turbocharger jet engine not too advanced but pretty powerful.

I think the props should have been staggered offset so the prop wash doesn't defeat the other two. The bike would have gained more off the start/top end speed. Run time I bet is around 10 Minutes. ......Nice try! Thumbs Up!
