oh just a tip with the propeller on the engine may be running a bit to cool so you might want to cut down the heatsink to relieve stress on the rod

Good video , rc car engine cooling head will cool more with a prop so it wont get to heat range to swell sleeve and might not last long but hey it works well! Id put a 20 size airplane engine on it

I used to make my own airboats about 20 years ago that performed really well. You should build one using a flat bottom single hull similar to real airboats. The hull creates some lift and enables you to house the electronics inside and out of the elements. With that design you should use a single rudder that is much smaller because the boat will be way faster than what you built.

Kind of 'funky' looking, but a nice build anyway, and I liked how you made the mount on the port (right) side of the boat, very cool indeed. I initially thought you would have problems with the bow not being able to get out of the water due to the engines forward location, but from your video she seemed to run just fine - if you ever do have any problems though it can be easily fixed by adding a small plate at the stern to compensate for not being able to get it "up on the step", plus you can add a small fin at the bow at a 2.5 to 5 degree angle which will also bring the nose up quite nicely without having to increase the length - and the shorter keel will perform much quicker in turns than a longer boat. Have fun and thanks for sharing, and now I've got to find your first video to get some information I might have missed.

I made a airboat out of stuff once it was powered by 5 9 volt batteries the first design had a wooden propeller with two blades but then I put on a 5 bladed propeller... But then it fell apart.😞
