Build a DIY Portable/Mobile Wall - Perfect Zoom Background! | Movable Room Divider / Secret Wall

In this video, I'm going to show you how to build a mobile/portable wall. Some videos have listed this as a temporary wall, but it serves many more purposes than just that! As you'll see throughout the tutorial, another popular use for this would be a Zoom background / backdrop. We personally use this as a secret wall/room divider. This being a mobile wall makes it easy to hide some of the more important components in the room, especially since its wheels make it easy to move. This allows you to block off certain parts of the room, without any permanent changes! Enjoy!

I want to build a L shape wall/divider in my small apartment corner to make an additional bedroom. Would this work? At the moment I only have an ikea folding screen divider and it’s obviously still so loud although there’s some privacy.

I would days so! I think you'd just have to really focus on making the base sturdy.

Hey there! Not necessarily, you could make a much bigger frame and just place the necessary brick boards next to each other.

Thank you! The board itself was like $30, and the lumber + wheels cost around $15. I'd say no more than $50! Including paint as well

But this is almost useless or too much work, for you get, buying a board with picture was way easier, if its just for hiding mess or make a cool background. This is not a wall because the purpose of wall is privacy especially cutting down noise.
