Build a Folk Toy Acrobat

This toy is fascinating to watch and hard to put down once you start playing with it. Just squeeze the handles together and watch the little acrobat do his gymnastic feats. My dad used to make them for us when were kids,he’d make me a footballer,was a joy to watch him in his little workshop,thanks for sharing this brung back memories 👌

Thank you! I bought an old wooden acrobat toy at a yard sale today, and his string had been snapped. Your video showed me how to restring him so he's good as new!

Thanks for the video. You just took me back to my childhood. I made a monkey for my sister when I was in the 6th grade. She loved it but it got burned down in a house fire. As old as she is she keeps talking about it. Of course I had forgotten how to make it till now. Your's is a lot safer. Thanks again.

I like the fact that Rick wants to make these toys safe for kids! His video is easy to follow and I was able to build an almost perfect acrobat toy my first time out. I will do better on the second one! Thanks Rick!
