Not exactly a DYI project, but an impressive project nontheless. DYI is all about doing simple tasks with basic tools that even your 60 year old auntie can do them. This is more of a professional level project job-wise and tool/requirements-wise.

you have to admire a guy who has damn near everything you would want in a garage/shop!!!!

Just a tip for you: instead of putting 2 nuts per bolt at the pivot points, you could put one nut on the bolt, tighten to desired torque then weld the nut in a couple spots around the circumference of the bolt threads. You won't have to worry about the nut backing off the bolt or having the nut tighten up on you during operation. Personally, I've not had the greatest luck with using the locking secondary nut method in the past (they always seem to turn as if there was only one nut on the threads). By the way, Excellent build.
