Amy myself and a few friends will be voting for you and are informally campaigning for you , we were all wowed by your performance on Alison Pearson's Planet Normal (Liam's too). Keep going for the long haul, more and more people will be tuning into the message that you and the SDP have. Stick with it for all of us.

She's good. But she won't win. That's obvious in the FPTP system. It's Khan or Hall. Hall is obviously preferable to Khant.

My nephew in his twenties was working in London with a decent job and sharing an apartment with some friends. He then went travelling for a couple of years and thought he could work again in London. His salary was the same but the rental prices had increased and it was no longer viable for him to live and work in London. So, let's have a new approach to the housing crisis and vote for a Mayor who will stick to her promises (because Khan most certainly doesn't, spending his 21 billion pound budget on lost or ineffective causes).

Why? It's Khan vs Hall. It's no longer second preference voting but FPTP so sadly it's either Khan or Hall. Hall is preferable to Khan

The more we hear from Amy, the better she is getting. We need people who are using their brains to think out a better way of doing all this. I can't help but feel we would move in leaps and bounds if Karn is removed.

I really want to vote SDP at this year's election but nobody is standing in my constituency. Please can you stand a candidate there please, you'd definetly get my, and loads of other's, vote trust me. The SDP would have greater success in non-metropolitan areas. Go outside London!

Housing - how they look. Totally agree with you Amy. An example: Bromsgrove council (Worcs) built an estate in an area that was previously beautiful allotments. It’s awful! It looks like a vile blue and white toy town! It’s a carbuncle on a once rural, pleasant landscape. Why do new builds (council) look so awful. Keep this country beautiful. If I visited this country and took a good look around … beyond the ‘visit the uk’ traveller bullsh*t … I’d be like … urrrrrrrrgggggh!

If i still lived in London, I'd vote for Amy in a heartbeat. I think she's brilliant and would be magnificent for the city. Sadly, I think the demographic has been changed so profoundly that her manifesto will only appeal to actual Londoners.

As much as I like the SDP and their policies, I don’t want more houses built in London. We have plenty of homes, the problem is lack of immigration control. We have mass immigration which has caused the housing crisis.

True there is an immigration problem which an SDP national government could deal with but what can a mayor do if people need houses and you're the one responsible for housing them?

Homes are always going to be built especially as areas are redeveloped and we can certainly do that better. But yes, a big driver of the demand is mass immigration - SDP policy for that is quite simple, dropping it to a bare minimum and stopping mass migration for at least a generation.

True, we do and we will always need to redevelop run-down areas. However we can reduce much of the demand by lowering the burden caused by mass migration - which is SDP policy.

But you're not going to win. The priority has to get rid of Sadiq Khan. The only option is Susan Hall and even though I support Amy's policies, it's clear that Hall is preferable to Khan

Amy's a very good candidate, but she doesn't stand a chance. People in London vote on identity, and hers is a declining demographic.

I fear you're correct. There are hardly any Londoners in London any more. My families history goes back hundreds of years. Over 80% of my DNA markers are traced back to the Thames Estuary 11,000 years. Of our entire family, only 4 people remain, but they are trapped there and hate it.

@@mrjones1397 Lee Kuan Yew said, “In multiracial societies, you don't vote in accordance with your economic interests and social interests, you vote in accordance with race and religion." I don’t want that to be true, but I suspect it is. I think the people who permitted mass immigration on the scale we’ve had since 1997 assumed it was true. That’s why they permitted it.
