If you like these sorts of builds consider a dual obliteration wand chaos occultist. With spiritual aide it's pretty easy to get over 300% increased chaos/generic damage and make each explosion do over 100% of the monster's max life in damage. With a curse on hit item you can get profane bloom in on the action too. I ran this in blight league and it consistently cleaned blight maps all the way back to the portals as there was no pesky off screen stasis effect like normal maps. You can use basically anything since spiritual aid makes global damage, but I ended up using soulrend. Play around with the concept and see if you like it.

For your watchers eye if you still want a ton of damage and wanna save money just go with a wrath one. Flat lightning damage or pen is good enough specially if you're trying to save some ex.

Well, if you were going for CwC, CoC, or traps, I'd say you must go with manastorm shield. It would give you like 1200 flat lightning damage , which beats anything. Problem with manastorm as you know, you can't self cast spells that much, because that will keep your mana on the low side and reduce survivability. . It would probably be possible with unleash+spell echo, since you would make one huge cast in every 2-3 seconds instead of spamming your spell. So u could do traps for one skill (ball lightening), unleash another skill (shock nova?), and cast orb of storms normally as you don't spam it. You could also sacrifice your other ring to get elemetal equilibrium from Malachi artifice, as u can use flame or ice golem in it. Or if you really want to do a lot of work and timing.. you could use vortex, and make sure you don't have any falt added lightening to spells in you gear, as that would ruin the Elemental equilibrium if u put self cast spell there.

For more tankyness (if needed) you could go with Mind of the Council. Big ES, Mana and Mana recovery when shocking enemies.

Consider getting +1 intelligence gem and lightning penetration amu, it should be very good for you and they are easier to make

instead of foible you can get a marble amulet (60 mana regen implicit) with an extra 60+ mana regen roll, dex, and spell mods.

Looks like I'm gonna get to lvl 28 ball lightning once I hit lvl 80 21 gem+2 staff +2 inpulsa +1 added lightning +2 amulet

It's funny i was experimenting with the same combo yesterday, i'm going power charge stacking assassin, for single target i use the tempest's binding with storm brand which is an additional 6 link, i'm still using herald of ice and thunder however but i might switch to badge of the brotherhood and get rid of heralds and go MoM for extra tankiness, but thats amulet is 14 ex so gl me

Please get a better stygian, prismatic catalysts and prismatic+pristine+metallic will get you a 140% resist belt for a few ex

Probably a bit played out, but maybe Indigon helmet and using Enduring Eternal Mana (in place of the life) flask seeing as you're a hierophant with near 4k Mana?

How about using the EE Ring and switching the staff out for a Shield and wand Instead you can easily get enough pen between the two and to fix the 2nd six link Use a influenced Helm with innervate for. Orb of Storms should be easy to craft with metallic fossils like this u can Use Shield charge as Well and have more es res and life

what about that item that gives you lightning damage based on the mana and takes away all your mana when you cast a spell? thats a lot of damage

Have you considered using Manastorm or Indigon? With that mana pool I think you can use them to deal more damage

Just to correct you at 3:32 , you don't need to shock to start the reaction. All enemies killed by you : dead > shocked > explosion. Yes, you can use any skills if you get the kill (trap, mines, totems will only work with Damage over Time). Yes, it is OP. Yes, GGG should nerf it. But please don't.

Using an explodey chest is the easier and stronger option imo I made a cold conversion divine ire trickster this league, using Oos for packs You don't need to worry about prolif and free up a glove slot or other uniques, just use a skill that scales phys/phys as elemental Also making an explodey chest with spell crit is surprisingly cheap to craft

saw you die a few times in the vid. dmg looks bonkers. ehp looks good. defense = offense, which is fine. sustain? looks lacking. life gain on spell hit shaper ring would probably fix that.
