In this 10 mins before and after build video, I take you though is ground up project, the car started life as a late 1991 5 door 1.6 intercooler GTD, Did an engine conversion to 1.9 TDI 1Z with 0.205 nozzles, also added full Golf mk3 running gears, front subframe, power steering ABS system, electric windows, control locking and loads loads more.

It really was in a bad way at the beginning, who ever had it before had no clue, they used cardboard and tape to make a holder for a set of gauges, Love these before and after videos.

looks great. but i was under the impression that mk3 tdi engine in a ce2 mk2 was as good as plug and play, i saw a lot of loose wires :P

The later mk3's have the light loom and few other bits all as one, so you'll need to split it, some people don't and just change the plugs at the lights but it's a lot of work to make look OEM as the wiring has a different route, plus this engine,ecu and loom was from a UK right hand drive car and this mk2 is left hand drive.

@@RestoDesignsnando Thank you in advance! :) First thing that comes to my mind is: How to make RPM gauge work? I have 1Z swap in my MKII, and I wanna keep MKII cluster.
