Completely agree! Wish we had some other similar series that they could run all the time. No suggestions what those would be though.

I was trying to build a templar version with Atziri's disfavor+battlemage+mana stacking indigon, POB is crazy but you have to deal with mana cost, convert all phys to chaos, and defensive layers. Eventually I pickup Pathfinder poison verison, works well with Dialla's chest, then move to Forbiden Shako+Vixen, solid as steel.

Lol I did ruetoos version and was insanely tanky while doing amazing damage on super budget minus uber fights.

Mana cost is veeeery annoying and hard to solve on lower levels

​@@AshidoAsh does not even remotely cover the incredible cost of this spell. The less recovery mod from enduring makes it give very little mana on low flask bases.

You can spec some mana nodes as you level up (the ones by templar area are great for early mana cost issues) and unspec later on when you dont have any issues

Level with cursed ground instead of vixen until you have a high enough lana pool

Except that won't net you that much damage, the way to scale dmg on this build is power charges. Anything other than that will just be a lesser version, that eats a ton of currency for no good reason

@@Quel_droma power charge for hit damage and crits? That may be better than poison but you will loss tons of defense, if you choose Dialla body armour. My poison version can still do at least 20M dps without deadly ailment support(pob calculation issue) and insta phase Maven, enough for me I guess..

It's less about who did it first and more abt who made a comprehensive guide which is easy for new players to follow. This series is more to have the youtube algorithm attract new players. Experienced players will look at different places if they want uber viable builds paak's version and steelmage's version are, in my mind, better than this version. But their guides are more complex because they use a lot more mechanics to become HC viable and scale damage Steel's version can tank like 20 uber shaper slams in a row iirc but scales phys to ele, flask effect, loreweave + ED interaction. lots to fit in for a 5 minute video Also vixen is used differently in this build than the meta version, which is worth mentioning. This build would function without vixen's. It's just a means to apply defensive curses. paak's and steelmage's versions are relying on vixen's and curse limit to override temp chains to proc impending doom instead of scaling reduced duration Not to say the build is totally different. But this isn't a copy of paak's build and uses very different approaches to scaling damage, proccing impending doom, and using vixen's

@@Kardeell Impending Doom triggers but the damage counts as a hit. I have been levelling the build and vulnerability does show up on the mob but only when I am casting. So it doesn’t brick it, but it does remove one curse on the monster while being hit (ie when I am casting on the mob). It is a very wild interaction and such a confusing build.

@@TheMoreGreen I'm at 400 Div investment but you can get like 70% of the power of where I'm at for like 40-50 Div. It's the defenses that need to be nerfed. I literally don't move for any mechanic in the game aside from Degen now. The combination of Eternal Damnation, Loreweave and Transcendence is way too strong. Between that, the triple Ele flasks and converting 90%+ of Phys to Ele it's just too tanky. It's comical. I loved it but it shouldn't exist. No character should be able to pull over 20m DPS with 750k-800k eHP.

Did you miss the part where awakened spellcascade triggers doomblast 5 times per cast?

The only way to increase its trigger rate is cooldown recovery rate and bringing the cast speed into "wavelength" with it. The reason why you want Awakened Spell Cascade is that it provides us 28% less area damage, whereas Spell Cascade provides 31% less

@@TheMoreGreen That's a miniscule difference. The main reason for double awakened is that you need only a fraction of cast speed to use up all charges on single target, and that targeting is more forgiving.

@@gehirndoper Cast speed for curses is very very easy to come by, they already have decent base cast times. The charges cooldown is a one-by-one cooldown, they are not individual, they function like flame dash. ASC provides nothing here.
