It's taken straight from Dune (at least the book version, not sure about the movie/s). You know, Dune, the book about giant worms on a desert planet... There are multiple Dune references ("The spice must flow" etc.) and even a quick pic of a giant worm spliced in.

these recent build of the week videos have been sooo good , showcasing the creativity of the community , and especially how wild and warped POE can truely become when all the seemingly unusable components come together to form something amazing and unique . with the meme wormblaster builds eirikeiken made overtime they can be gutted and nerfed into oblivion , but they are eternal , for its not about how hard you can wormblaster , its about how many times you can get hit and keep coming back stronger , stranger then before . rip wormblaster , long live wormblaster .

When I first started playing Path of Exile, I saw this Channel and it was mostly just build that were viable and well-rounded. Nowadays we get showcases of beautifully constructed jank builds. It's wonderful

It's fun. It's unique. It's fast. It deals a lot of damage. And it's the same 90% of the builds in PoE where it can barely do any high level content not to mention ubers. Unless of course you grind your life away and invest another 26 mirrors into the build :)
