I was too for a while but after using level 6 with my oldest this year is was an easier decision. We have really enjoyed it. There are groups that combine Torchlight and BYL so maybe check that out.

Thank you! I see you tab your books. This might be a stupid question but how do you go about doing that? Is it based on what they are assigned to read in the curriculum?

No worries! I watched one of your videos where you were getting ready for the new year and you said about tabbing each days reading. It’s a really good idea. We are trying out guest hollows history curriculum this year and the schedule layout reminds me a lot of BYL schedule. I am doing BYL Level 0 with my kindergartner and I can’t wait and also doing her mini election unit with my 6th grader. Thank you for recommending BYL!!
