It's honestly the best way to get a GBC in 2024, pair it with a flash cart for GB/GBC games you can have an all in one Gameboy Color!

@@DNAMobileGaming That's really nice. At first I was like, "Why get one of these big bulky things when the RG Nano is the size of my thumb and can play N64?" Now I see the fun in this. I think building my own GBC would be really cool. (Red is my favorite color BTW. I really like the transparent red color of your GBC)

Frank Puts Gas Around town 😂 the gist is that it's a customizable chip that can be updated and flashed easily enough. Perhaps we get a GBA model one day 🤗🤗🤗

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are integrated circuits often sold off-the-shelf. They're referred to as 'field programmable' because they provide customers (usually another company going to mass use or sell the reprogrammed circuit board) the ability to reconfigure the hardware to meet specific use case requirements after the manufacturing process. So FunnyPlaying can buy thousands of these boards and program the chip to act like the GBC.
