I built these sheds as a career, one day I was lubricating the scissor lift when my boss raised the platform into a high voltage powerline, I earthed out 19,000 volts 3 times. I lost both legs and 35% of my skin is now grafted, mg heart and lungs got burnt to a crisp im seriously lucky to be alive. Seeing this she’d go up brings back a lot of great memories at work and some serious ptsd haha but life goes on and ya can’t just hide away from it… you stay safe mate, complacency is the big killer, a dangerous job that’s never been a danger becomes a danger…

I went in my first ever motocross as a double amputee, I’m training for desert racing and building a bike for landspeed records. I’m the next six months I’ll own my own farm. If you think you can, Or think you can’t, Your right. Your only disability, Is your own mindset.

A building that span maybe should have had cap plates at the top of the posts and compression stiffness at the same level as the bottom of the end plate of the rafter ,The end plates on the rafter could have been a little thiner

Hello and greetings. I would like to thank you for recording such videos, which help people like me a lot. I have a request from you. My request is that you help me to build the halls I want. My hall has an opening of 30 meters, but without the middle column at a height of 6 meters. I want to know with what size H beam I can build these halls. I will build it. Of course, if the opening is 30 meters, it will answer. If it doesn't answer, I can make the opening of the shed up to 23 meters. I am waiting for your correct answer. I thank you again for your help. I wish you a good day.

Can you build me a shed frame? Only thing I'd do differently after having 2 sheds put up is use Z purlin as on the first the wood ones have twisted but the Z in 2nd are straight. 2nd one has channel not wood where the gutter sits, not sure correct name, but keeps gutters straight and level. Hat off to having a go looks great.

Z beams are a lot stronger, a bend in metal really strengthens it. They are heavy though haha.. I used 16 metre spans and had to hold one a metre from one end once felt like I had holding a car 13 metres off the ground.. hell I was a big unit back then haha.. I hit a powerline at work n lost both my legs

That bed rock you have is crazy, great for yard space. What size are the timber how does it price compared to z purlins. I have been prices up a shed myself.
