RV-10 Build: 06/27/2021 - Catching back up & Interior Paint!

We are back! A short break to catch up on some flying and now it's time for new build videos ;) As we wait for the finish kit we decided to catch up on a bunch of stuff that was outstanding ("i'll do this later.")
- Rivet leading edge to left wing
- pressure-check left tank and discover a leak :(
- Initial fit of extended range tanks
- Interior paint!!!!

Do you think you will have a need for the extended range tanks often? Just curious what your mission is.

No, but it would be nice to do Florida or Texas nonstop. We tend to go to one of those two 2 or 3x per year. That extra hour of flying it offers opens up a lot.

And there’s always Europe. I’d like an extra safety margin for that crossing.

Which interior paint are you using and what is the color ?

JetFlex WR in a custom color. I went to the local hardware store and picked from their wall paint sample display and sent that to BlendSupply for color matching.

@@BuildFlyGo Now that you have had some time using JetFlex WR, how durable is the finish in your opinion?

I have nothing to compare but it seems pretty great. My main rub area is where the canopy latch rests on the toolbar to hold it open, and as expected it has rubbed off there. I plan to add a strip of delrin there soon.
