Fuel injection is just a different delivery system. No power advantages whatsoever over a common carburetor. Easier to fine tune, but it will not make any more HP than a well-tuned and jetted carb. My YZ490 in stock form vibrated like a paint mixer that had been struck by lightning. A carefully trued and microbalanced crank turned it into a very smooth runner that has virtually no vibration whatsoever without the added weight and rotating mass of a counterbalancer. I will be sending all my cranks to be trued and balanced when they are due for a refresh.

I would like to see BRC make a kit for the new 300XC. Think about it EStart, TBI, and Electronic Power valve!!!

Damn the moment I saw the TE 300i I knew all benefits and what she‘s capapble to do for. Enduro, Supermoto, Cross, or a normal ride on the road? No problem! With e start and fiel injection, damn! Hyped on the series

Cool idea. I know you and Ken Kaplan are friends they kind of did something like that with the gas gas 300 I think it was BRC509 kit. I don't know if they dynoed it.I think they did and it was like almost 70 horsepower or something!! What a monster

Hey there Max, I have a suggestion that might complement your collection well. Though it isn't two stroke i think it would be super cool to see too. Namely in sidecar racing many teams have switched from the Zabel and Mega engines we are all familiar with, to 640 four strokes made from 450s. They keep the crankcase castings so they should fit plug and play into the 450s they came from. I think that would be a cool contrast to see to the big bore two-strokes. They do already look and sound very impressive in sidecars and I wonder what brutal hammers they'd make in an MX bike

I knew it! Also excited you will have a supermoto version! I run a 5.5 rear on my ktm and it fits but ita tight. If go with a 5in rear unless you want a bit of a fiddle to get the rear in or mod the rear caliper slide so it can be off during wheel install.

Max what about building a BRC Husky CR500R Throttle Body Injected electric start beast? I'm guessing you've already planned it out.

"I'm never getting back on that monster!!!!" You know when you are close, because the Dyno reads close to a hundred horsepower!!!!! I want to see, & hear, 'FEAR'!!! From all who ride this thing!!! Shoot for 100 HP./ Close to 225 LBS. Great chassis, better than KTMs.(rear suspension)

Kenny kaplan and kaplan America, have done a similar thing with the 2022 gas gas 300 2 strokes with the brc kit, still fuel injected and road legal, its pretty much the same bike you guys are using aswell, 👌🏾

Actually call northern crankshaft in thief river falls mn they have a case for a 1,850cc triple 2-stroke motor. If you can dream it they can build it, such as sticking 2 1000cc twin motors 2-strokes together. No joke. Guys up there are old racers from arctic cat, and Polaris, ect...both Actually have fuel injection on 2-stroke motors that make well over 100hp Dennis Rantanen from DR Motors was getting 147hp from 600cc he used in his mini sprint from thief river falls mn. He also has a wall of trophies to show for his experience in racing. His cousin Dave also worked at black magic they, just got done building my yamaha raptor 770cc it has a plus 3mm intake valves plus 2mm exhaust valves, 105.5mm cylinder and piston, stroker crankshaft, EFI controller, plus many other extras.... 11:1 compression piston I went with, didn't want to go too high. But it runs just fine in 4th gear I can pull it up at 75mph then shift into 5th and it's just stupid. Yes it's geared up to the moon
