When Honda dropped that 350X on the world in the spring of '85, I was very, very close to trading in my 200X. But it was completely paid for and would have finance the difference so I decided to stay with what I had. All these years later I'm still happy with it, but in the back of my mind I still wish I had bought the 350X and kept the 200X. My front headlight bezel was smashed and couldn't find find a replacement for a reasonable cost so I replaced it one for a '85 250R. It looks darn good, better than the factory setup. Have fun with it Mat.

I like the 85 atc250r bezel more then the 86. What headlight did you end up running? I know the 85 light is 5" and the 86 is 6". As far as the 350x goes I like the double light set up. 350x will more then likely be up for sale after it's built....I can't keep them all.

@@garagemcmatt I ended up finding a '85 oem 250R headlight that was near mint. At $200 it was the cheapest I could find but all I needed to do was plug in a new bulb and bolt it in. I'll email you a picture of it.

So many of the 350x engines fell to a trend around here any everyone was putting them on 250x frames and also 250r frames I had a 250X/350x loved that engine lots of torque

I thought about doing that with my extra engine. I have a 91 250xwith a locked up engine sitting here. It probably won't be a thing tho

Only mistake I made was to bore ir and put a 12 to 1 piston in it run great made it terrible to kick lol

I think the rear grab bar is Swamp Outlaw. Use to be Vintage powersports surplus (Noah Olson)

I bought the same handlebar switch, everyone has the same issues but mine are, When the light switch is ON the taillight is on, headlight is off, when I switch the lights to OFF- the headlights are on and taillight is off lol. Everything else works like it should. cHiNa….😅

Lol it is what it is. I still have 2 oem switches maybe I can pull one apart and use the new plastic
