In this episode of building a barndominium I show the installation of gutters, as well as a lot of siding details. If you stick it out til the end, you will get a good idea what the siding will look like.
LP Smartside Expert Finish is being used on the exterior along with Versetta Stone. Colors are Cavern Grey, Abyss Black Trims and Sterling Ledgstone Versetta.

Probably the best Ryan’s kzfaq.infoUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans on building a shed is hardly ever found. And Ryan takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build a shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.

For me, the ideas in this Ryan's Shed Plans were a starting point for building different sheds kzfaq.infoUgkxn5Hu39f8DPIFYfBbaiOSis3qfw0nqoFp Ryan's gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.

The owner is lucky AF to have Kyle and Greg building this. That Kyle documents the whole process blows my mind. It's unfortunate cloning isn't a thing (yet) cuz I would love to have a Kyle build in Arizona.

Awesome to see builders paying such attention to detail, so many today don't because it's such a push and run culture. I started my career building Victorian style homes and they are detail oriented to the max. Great work!

So true! Wish my PF builder did even half of this quality of work!! My builder didn’t even use ANY exterior trim/flashing around windows… just butted the steel against the window. Sad when you pay over $100,000 Wish R&R was in Canada!

Ain't that the truth. Honestly, watching builders that give a damn about their customers and their reputation have ruined my current house build experience. I hope that all of these new guys coming up in the ranks run the shitty, "this is how we do it" old timers out of business. Not saying there are bad older builders, or that all up and comers are great, but times have changed, and the process or materials used 10/20/30 years ago are nearly obsolete.

This book is awesome! kzfaq.infoUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- It has loads of pictures and videos, and it shows you everything you need to know about tiny homes. It covers all the basics of a house, from plumbing to electricity. It also has some cool floor plans of some of the most popular tiny homes out there. I had a blast reading this book and learning so much. The only thing that bugged me was that the description said it had floor plans, but it didn't say how few there were.

Your skill with the snips and brake is consistently impressive as many builders are necessarily forced to use stock trim that does not always fit the job. You really have the knack to "think like a raindrop" which really is a long-term payoff. What is noteworthy in construction during the last few years is the extensive use of tape that was unheard of in past years. At about thirty-five bucks a roll, it is not a cheap innovation, but makes a lot of sense. As a two-man team, you guys are incredibly efficient, but you have demonstrated in this video what can be done working alone.

I don't care for all the reliance on tape. How long do you think that tape is going to last? Especially on the roof.

Love the attention to detail. Long time ago, my old boss told me to be as perfect as possible, the more the customer can notice off the bat, the more they start to look and the more they will find and at a certain point, they question the stuff they can't see. He used to say, "strive for perfection, and settle for nothing less!"

I discovered your channel a few years ago, got hooked, and watched a LOT of your videos then life happened, got busy, and I've been only watching automotive stuff for the last couple years... Well I yesterday I was off work and it was too cold to do anything so I spent the day binge-watching this series from part one all the way to this video and MAN I forgot how much I love your videos! This is almost exactly how I'd love to build a house someday so I'm absolutely infatuated and can't wait to watch this build continue to come together and I'm really looking forward to informative videos on how to frame up the house inside a post frame building... Thanks as always for the awesome content and inspiration! 🤘 I'm down by Effingham IL btw so I also find it cool that we're in the same state lol

Get you an electric pallet jack and some 4 inch steel pipe and take a lot of work and time out of the project. Use 2/6/12 board's on the dirt where you don't have concrete with rebar stakes. Was a truck driver that delivered a lot of construction materials it's just a suggestion for your back to be better than mine and you can use plywood with some rebar stakes to hold them in place.
