Building a Beam Trolley from Scrap and Car Parts

4 жыл бұрынI've collected a couple of Guide bearings from timing belt kits and a Scrap steel plate for making a beam trolly for my new workshop. All the bolts are 12.9 grade which is strong enough for my needs with the combination of the doubled-up 3mm steel plate. But in case of bearing failure, I welded on some Safety catches made from Angle Iron.

No, they are roller bearings from a engine timing belt set.

4:51 The latch on the hook did not close. The bolt spacer diameter is too big. Be careful with that.
