I love your miniature videos, no matter what they are. This one is really above and beyond. I have always had a fascination and admiration for those who can recreate something so big into something so little. My grandfather used to sit and handcraft miniature toolboxes, complete with working tools. Even as a kid, they were so tiny in my hand. To this day it is something I love. So this brought back a lot of nostalgia from my childhood that I dearly miss. Thank you. ---- Lee

Love miniatures. My mom had a life long love of them and always wanted to get me a doll house. Just could never afford it. I'm almost 63 years old and still wanting a doll house. Now though, we're too busy building our final house that is totally ADA compliant so once again I'll be able to go anywhere I want in my/our home. Even outside to a large covered, screened patio. My sanity room (aka craft room) has door straight out to the patio. Easier to take projects outside to work on them. Maybe before I die I'll have the fun if making a dollhouse with furnishings. Thanks for the tutorial and inspiration.

I'm deeply impressed - not sure if you realise this, but here in UK "I did it all for the nookie" would provoke sniggers and knowing winks, perhaps accompanied by exclamations of "ooh er missus!" or "Matron?!" Watch any of the 'Carry On' films for context.

Those blocks that you refer to as “welding blocks” are actually called 1-2-3 blocks (1 inch in one direction, 2 inches in the second dimension, and 3 inches in the third direction), and are primarily designed for machine shop work. In the past few years they’ve become widely used by woodworkers and model builders as well! A couple VERY useful options on these are the ones that have no holes at all (much heavier than the Swiss cheese ones!), and Taylor Tools (aka TayTools) sells screw/pin sets that attach these blocks together to form precision 90 degree angles, Z shapes or just longer end to end, among other arrangements! I LOVE your channel!

Very, very cool! Making something like that is going on my bucket list. When I want real bookshelves or a cabinet, my husband makes it with wood just like you made your bookshelves (tho not with hot glue ha ha). We’re DIYers. We have lots of tools, but not a quarter round cutter. That’s going on my Christmas list. Just excellent! Please be sure to show us how you made the ceiling light. Thanks!

I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I love it! Every time I watch a video, I want to make a copy of the project. Now, I have to stop watching videos and get busy. I love this booknook and I like the way you put it together. Scoring the chip board and having it wrap around the outside of the box was a clever idea. Makes the box more secure. Oh, I can't tell you how much I absolutely adore the ceiling. I love those metal roof squares. It's too bad that the same effort isn't put into making stuff nowadays. I've always been into crafts but more like sewing, knitting, crochet, porcelain dolls, etc. So, I'm new to crafting using paper, coffee stirrers, and other house hold items. I've always loved miniatures but only collected them. I could spend the rest of my life crafting and never get all the things made, that I want to. Thanks for sharing your talents.
