I would have just left the "gap" in the deck in the shape of the boat and then whinch it up so the rib is flush with the deck when not in use. that way makes it easy to board and unboard and also less extra material between the hulls that would catch on water in rough seas

You should add a functional anchor, just makes sense for this build

I do believe this is the largest build I've seen being built in Stormworks. Like, video-wise, I'm not talking workshop creations that build into bigger ships, those are cool too.

You should add another set of buttons on the side of the harness and ladder from top behind the helm

I would put a ladder instead of a seat so it is more flush and looks better with the overall deck

Instead of having the drive’ n dock at the back with ropes maybe you should have it on the side of the helicopter pad with pivots rotating 90 degrees back, to bring the boat up to the dock?

You should have the boat + cradle on the deck and have the large boom arm pull it of the deck and into the water when using and when your not using it, you can pull it out of the way for when you have to pull anything off the ocean floor.

maybe add decorations and stuff in the engine room for design. like ships servers that blink etc ?

Isn't the new tender now in the way of the crane-system? How about moving the new tender more forward, under the helipad?

Yeah, was thinking that too. Of course you can make the crane extend off the back of the ship but when you're trying to lift something really heavy that might make the ship unstable/tilt backwards more than it can handle

Only question at the moment, how would you get out when you're carrying an NPC, if needed? You couldn't put them in the top seat, because you need it. Right? Personally, I like Yannick's idea, to have it flush with the deck - but I love the video! :)

I suppose so, yes. I’m just thinking in real world SAR, we drop smokes from above to have a reference point once we see a person in the water. The spotter can then get the eyes of the pilot onto the PIW using the smoke as reference instead of “next to that larger wave” 😅. I don’t know if it would be as useful in this game, especially solo. And considering most of the PIWs have their own personal flashing beacons…
