I have some suggestions, may work here, but are surely useful in other build styles as well: 1) 1:31 might look better if you replace the stripped birch wood with a lectern facing inwards of the building, with a line of stripped birch (or oak perhaps) wood behind it. The backside of the lectern looks great, complex shape with a lot of depth. 2) For all types of windows, try to use only one colour of panes in the front, and then add regular glass panes behind those. This will create a perfect dividing line visible only from the outside, without the weird colour mixing.
