We only have a few prototypes of our exhaust. We ran some tests with it on this engine to see how it would do with large displacement (it did great) but chose to keep it in shop rather than selling it, so it’s now on Chris’ personal bike, which is a 132ci

Chris, for a 2002 Flht stage 4 stroker putting down over 120 lbs-ft, what would be your clutch of choice? Running FM AIM VPP with an Energy One diaphragm spring, new steels and new drag organic fibers, which is holding but on my second (used) oem basket, which will eventually fail as well. Tried a Barnett 6 spring pressure plate w/ greens before the AIM and it slipped. Barnett HD diaphragm is just going to snap my clutch cable when it gets cold, pull is ridiculous with VPP on top.

Bike came out great! My question is with all the torque it produces why the decision to not upgrade the swing arm or more importantly the rear axle?? When i put some power in my Road Glide 131 build the stock axle would not stay adjusted and constantly need readjusting. Went to the Kraus axle which solved the issue. Now run the Brock's swing arm & its been solid.
@BlockheadMoto
@BlockheadMoto 9 ай бұрын
We’ve actually run into fitment issues going with aftermarket a number of times. We did remove the stock swingarm though and had it modified / reinforced, so it’s not actually “stock,” has custom fabrication on it, just looks stock.

There is something about an incredibly built bike, that has top of the line suspension, brakes, crazy power, all the looks and carbon a guy could want, while skipping the oddest details. I mean this with absolutely no disrespect, I just can't wrap my head around it. The bike is absolutely amazing, but how can you run dual Brembo radial calipers, a top of the line Ohlins inverted front end, Lyndall rotors and all kinds of goodies, only to run a stock master cylinder and a fuck load of black washers as spacers for the calipers. A good master cylinder and some real spacers would do this bike every bit of justice it deserves! That being said, if it's only fine details that someone can find an issue with, it's really not an issue. The bike is absolutely gorgeous, it sounds amazing and the mods are too notch and all tie in VERY nicely. I kinda feel like a dick for pointing out the two things that drive me nuts considering how nice the bike is. I just hope it's taken as respectful constructive feedback and not as hate, because it's anything but that! The bike is essentially perfect!
@BlockheadMoto
@BlockheadMoto 9 ай бұрын
Thanks Jonny! There’s no black washers as spacers. The spacers just have circular notches cut into them, but they’re a solid piece. Stock master cylinder stops great w the upgraded components. We had to balance the overall budget and OEM master cylinder is something we kept to allocate budget towards other areas.
