You need two barrels side by side . One for solid one for liquid . Hole drilled in liquid barrel wrapped gravel for draining on sides of barrel

@@ricktoole9991 you did not see this on the video the water from the kitchen in the bathroom go outside. We just a type of hole for now and you are right a separate barrel with rock and one kind of a pipe like that would be very nice. I don’t have time right now. I have a lot of stuff to do but later on I will do it, thanks a lot for the information

I wish more people would do septic tanks in cabins. I could live in a cabin with a septic system. Can’t do compost toilets or outhouses.

I really enjoy your videos I'm very impressed on your job of building that beautiful cabin on that septic tank you made did you drill holes in the barrel so the water can escape the barrel what are you going to use for water to flush toilet from the lake keep up the great work very impressed I watch your videos every day where are you located in Canada

@@ericvanbernum7799 you did not see this on the video. There’s a separate drain going for the kitchen and it goes in a pipe with holes so for the water,

What's that smell! "I don't do anything in my yard that you don't do in yours" - 😂 Rather than stink up the place, a composting toilet would have been a keener option. As you say, " you can always change your mind."

@@philipvaden3747 it won’t smell I put 2 feet of dirt on top of it, and there is a drainage pipe that comes off of the tub lol

That is so illegal and unsafe! Someone’s going to get hurt! That cover isn’t sealed in anyway and is only sitting on the top of it not even secured, then you covered it so it can’t even be seen. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@richardjohnson1589 the cover is big enough to cover it and I have about a couple of feet on top of it. I did this in one camp already and it actually worked very well
