Hey Dave..! Love your techniques.. It’s always good looking on a budget.. Yes there is always a more expensive but perfect way to do something, but I’m a Senior on a fixed income so bravo..! Besides I try to remember the best rule of Model Railroading, “It’s my railway, so it’s done my way..!”. Keep the great videos coming..

Rockwork is looking good Dave, as you said, once you start adding the greenery etc, it'll bring it to life as it were. Keep on, keepin' on.

Very nice! For top of mountain you could do a little bit of snow. Not a lot, just a little at the top to help show altitude.

Looking great Dave. We all do similar takes on the same basic theory. For The final dry brush, I use quite a stiff flat brush and a white grey. Similar end result, but it's interesting that we all find different ways to achieve the same affect. I think that you're right in thinking that white is too bright. Looking forward to seeing the other cutting matching with the mountain. Happy Modelling

I guess you won't be at St Thomas after all! Looked for you there, but didn't see you. I will name the purchase I made after you then.

All it needs now is drill marks when they were cutting the rock or did they blast the rock face?.... I'm so glad that I am not doing scenery on my layout.. lol..

How would it work to put your paint in a spray bottle and spirits it on ?

My little spray gun is not powerful enough to something this big.
