Pretty good vid, but you forgot the part where you fuck up your hand trying to plug power cables into the motherboard around the CPU fan. I always have a point when I'm building PCs where I notice one of my fingers got covered in blood. It's a bad omen if your CPU fan doesn't feast on any blood, or maybe that's just me.

The IT guy I work with actually did short a CPU with a static shock from his fingers, but it might be because the computer was on while he was working with it. So even though it in all likelihood won't happen, you might as well buy a $10 lanyard to potentially save yourself from having to spend well into triple digits on computer parts. I just took my shoes and socks off to ground myself, but I'm also an idiot, so that might not actually work like I think it does.

I don't know what your distain for the UK leaving EU is, but us brits were ripped off on a regular basis under the EU.
