Man Brian is such a great player. Builder of great pedals, not a ton of builders play this well. And a cheerleader for other companies. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Wampler has grown to be one of my favorite companies as I try their products and watch their videos/podcasts. They aren't afraid to say "hey go try this pedal from another company, they're great!" and that itself says so much. I mean look what shirt he is wearing in this video even!
@lothar348 жыл бұрын
That's probably my favorite thing about Brian & the company- they never come off like sales or marketing guys & never pretend like other pedal makers aren't out there.

Lothar ThirtyFour Yeah, Brian seems like genuinely loves his work and loves playing guitar, and loves other people playing their guitars too.

Nice to see that the brains behind these great pedals for such great players as Brent and Brad can also pick with the best

I'm surprised that I've never left this comment here before, but I really liked the '90s super compressed sound. But then again, I was raised on Diamond Rio and Alabama. :)

Hi Brian - beautiful pedals and great playing to by the way

For people buying their first pedal the most useful and crucial one is the compressor. A compressor will make a Les Paul snappy if plugged into a fender black face amp 👍🏼

Finally have an EGO on the way. Been looking forever but they rarely seem to pop up used or if they do, it's only like $10 off the new price for one. Ya just don't see that w/ a pedal unless it's rare/vintage/limited run/just-released. For the EGO to be so widely available & on the market several years, but still holding such high value speaks volumes for how much people must love these things.

Love the Diamond pedal shirt - in addition to the video - not afraid to show the competition. I have not seen the guy demo or say a line that I questioned - the integrity comes across.

How about one super pedal that gives you the country sound? An all in one that combines all the effects you used here? One super pedal to rule them all!

Ive always been a acoustic guitar bluegrass player. Never played much with a electric guitar. I tried a Telecaster because I like that country sound but I never could connect with the guitar feel. I switched to a Gibson Les Paul with P90 single coil pickups plugged into my Twin Reverb and it sounds fantastic!! Use a thin pick and it will click, clack, snap, pop, and quack like a Telecaster. Im surprised more people haven't discovered this. Im eager to add some compression and see it does :) IF you want to play country but don't like Telecasters then grab a Les Paul with P90s and plug it into a Fender blackface amp.

Thanks for posting this! I'm currently using 4 of your pedals and love them! I do have a question for you that you might be able to help me with though. I'm a Brent Mason fan much like yourself. My favorite tune of his is on the Alan Jackson classic, I'm in love with a waitress and I don't even know her name. I've seen your video on how to get that 90s country tone and I got it. But, on this particular song, to me it sounds like he is using a light chorus pedal mix. Is that correct? And if so, what would you suggest to get this tone? Which chorus pedal? Thanks a lot!

What about modulation pedal what would you use
@wampler_pedals9 жыл бұрын
bill bowslaugh Which kind of modulation? Chorus? or something more like flange or phase?
@billbowslaugh9 жыл бұрын
Phaser
@wampler_pedals9 жыл бұрын
bill bowslaugh Personally, I don't use phase much, but I'd put it before overdrives or any dirt pedals, but probably after compression.

***** Daniel at PC makes a mighty fine amp - unfortunately WAY too powerful for my bedroom! I had a suggestion about your patch cable issue - if you made all your pedals with top mounted jack sockets with the Output and Input sockets the same distance from the side of the case , you could surely commission a universal U-shaped fixed connector to use with ALL Wampler pedals? That way you could chain all your Wampler pedals together with the same connector? (I agree it would then present a problem with other manufacturers pedals, but one shouldn't be using them anyway, No? Also I appreciate the cost of my suggestion might not make it a practical product) BTW I love your pedals (I own the Ego, Euphoria and Slostortion), but I did buy a Koko boost instead of your boost, as I liked the way the Mid-boost option "hit" my amp (Palmer Fab5); Any plans to upgrade the Decibel with similar or extra capabilities? Keep up the good work! MW

@seriouslypeople58607 жыл бұрын
Do you have one? I haven't lived with the Paisley Drive. I played it at the store, and came back to buy it when they had me try out the Hot Wired. That Hot Wired is the best overdrive/distortion pedal I have ever played, but I did go in there to buy a Paisley.

+Wampler Pedals that would be awesome! I'm a blues classic rock to hard rock guy. Your pedals are so incredibly great sounding it's hard to choose between! Had I unlimited funds I would just buy them all! lol! But it's crazy in my search by the way I got your Velvet Fuzz and love it! I picked up an MXR Prime Distortion it was $49 bucks! I hated it in the reviews but I tried it out with my rig and it sounded killer. But I won't sleep till I get the Dual Fusion! Thank you for everything!
