Cutting A mountain Driveway in for homeowners with the use of Cat 309 and Yanmar vio80 excavators. Excavation contractor also uses a Caterpillar 289d3 Skidsteer to move stumps and brush. Celebrity Michael Myers makes a surprise guest appearance.

You mountain guys are a whole different breed. Skills and balls working on those slopes. I guess once the road is started its not so bad but the initial drop in would have me puckered.

@@DigginLife21Cant see that you are making trences, i assume it will be winter/rainy there during a season, important to have trenches with underwaterpipes. How will the landscape cope with road on the edge of the hill? Thinking of mudslides etc

Working in the mountains around here does provide an interesting challenge or two. That ground reminds me of a lot of what I have seen off Bat Cave and #9. Places I'm sure you're familiar with. I will say it is rewarding work.

What % tint do you have? I want to keep some light out but I don’t want it to be hard to see when I’m working in the woods. What would you recommend?

I believe it’s a 20%. Is a ceramic tint so it blocks a lot coming in but is quite easy to see out

I would not damage one tree without a very clear plan approved by the land owner/customer, in writing. The civil liability from taking out a tree which the property owner did not want removed is potentially very severe.
