A deli slicer blade is more traditional, although they do make smooth-edge saw blades for specialized purposes. I would have drilled through the blade somewhat differently, but you got it done, so who am I to complain? Except you probably should've put a piece of scrap on it and clamped it to the drill press table to keep your hands safer. Number One Rule of Doing Stupid Stuff is to avoid having to explain how you got hurt.

Hey man i know you probably know this but i wouldn't feel right if i didnt say it, be careful squeezing stuff like resin or super glue.. it could explode and get everywhere or on your face, in your eyes.. just like to mention stuff like that when i see it. I know i know fun first, safety third
