After looking around for a larger power station than our Jackery Explorer 1000, I got the crazy idea to learn how to build one. Thus begins a multi-part adventure of figuring out HOW! Since we always try to record our first time doing something new, I figured this was no different. Lots of videos I watched trying to learn didn't go into a lot of detail so of course... I try to. Today's episode is the "Why" and the "What". Why are we doing it and what are the components we'll need. Episode 2 is "The Build", Episode 3 is "The Wiring", and Episode 4 will be "The Result". We hope you can suffer through with us and learn a little along the way.

Is this your new indoor studio. Looks very professional. You are way braver than myself. I’m nervous for you. I will need to recruit you for my zombie apocalypse team. Not sure why all my comments were removed. I’m looking forward to the series. Great idea. Also, I don’t remember what the time mark was, maybe 17:42 but what is that blue tool on the top left? For the life of me I can’t figure it out.

That's a lug crimper for the large battery wires. You hit it with a hammer. Same one I have.

Yup, Tony's got me. I think the hammer lug crimper is the way to go!! It is so easy to use and cheap!!
