Building a WOODEN CLOCK for my 90 year old Grandmother

This was a very nice project which I realized for my grandma. Inspired by probably the most amazing video I have ever seen: "I TURN AIRPODS into 18K AIRGOLDS" by Pablo Cimadevila. My grandma was always on my side and did a lot for her grandchildren, that's why I wanted to give her a special present. I am always happy to receive comments of any kind.

This was an absolutely wonderful video to watch. And what a beautiful and loving gift and tribute to your grandmother. I know she truly appreciated your efforts. Question : How many times the clock works before stopping ?

I made one about 15 years ago, that has been running since with no wear to show. It stops a few times each summer when I open doors and windows, and the draft hit and stop the pendulum, but then just start it again. My best guess is that a wooden clock will last more than a hundred years.

Could you give us an opinion on your Proxxon scroll saw? I am not affiliated whatsoever. I'm just intending to purchase one, and am looking for people using them regularly to see how they feel about them.

Course, its a simple saw for less money, easy to handle and precisly enough for making a clock like this ;).
