I like the way they are using standard standard woodworking tools for this build, with a minimum of specialized luthier jigs and tools.

This series has been great so far! When the project is finished, I'd love to see a supercut too; the format of narrating over an entire build from start to finish is a really effective part of the woodworking channels I frequent. I love the conversations with Michael too, so my thought is: if there's time and viewer interest, why not do both?

These are very fun episodes to watch, and honestly I'm learning lots of little tricks from Steve along the way. Again great fun and that's a very interesting elm guitar too, and it sounds great.

Another southpaw that plays righty guitars! I always thought it was an advantage having more strength in my fretting hand. I can fingerpick and flatpick just as good as righties, never seemed to be a detriment to me.

Are my eyes playing tricks, or was the string spacing on the guitar played at the end? Looks like the “B” string is shifted closer to the “E” than then “G”. Also looks the same way on the web site.

Is this guitar completely flat on top or does it have a slight dome?
