It would be super awesome if you added the custom pieces by themselves as rooms for people who don’t feel super comfortable in build mode and or can’t use CC! I think these are my favorite hacks yet.

You wouldn’t be able to move them if you’re not comfortable in build mode because they’re still just their individual pieces.

The only problem I have with all of these kind of hacks is the amount of items you have to use all the time (take the custom counters fx), it just makes it a lot harder to run the game😅

Base game has a ton of great 'hidden' debug objects you'll get using the cheats she mentioned, a lot of the time you can find objects kind of similar to pack items that get used in build hacks. There's definitely wooden posts that could be used for that bookshelf hack (even if they're not quite as elegant as the wedding stories pole!)

With the desk, you can also use island counters (those will shrink properly & you can also use this method for 1 tile bathrooms & other neat purposes) Pair it with a desk , display table & aquariums & you can turn aquariums into aquarium desks. Sink a platform 5 times, shrink & adjust tanks (I use that glass display from get to work for the illusion of glass), add plants& rocks& then draw from corner to corner 5 times with the platform tool to sink and set everything . Place the shrunken desk or island counter with a chair connected to it , add computer or maybe make it for the kitchen 🙃 You can also make it coffee table height too with the platform method. I use mouse & keyboard on console (Xbox) & I also play it on Pc . Console has more routing issues than on pc is what I’ve learned.

One more comment, with the bookshelf using the item from Decor to the Max, You could put a mirror behind it to make use of the light. You can use it in the bedroom in a walk-in closet if you use some of the clutter items from DHD.

3:33 You can size the desk down even further with Tool Mod to where you can’t even see it. Size it down to 0.001 or something 😊

I believe it would be set to 0.01 or 0.05. Wouldn’t 0.001 make it to small to be picked up with the cursor (with tool you’d just gravity pull & delete it) .

the only thing is that some people don't have all those packs so they can't do the hacks. and sometimes even if they do, they might play on playstation or xbox, or basically any platform that does not use a keyboard. so they can't size down or size up things. so if you could can you try and find hacks that are all base game and that maybe don't size things up or down? if not i totally get it that might be hard to find but its just another fan request. luv you still, i think you r builds are AMAZING!

I play on Xbox & use mouse and keyboard. You’d be surprised how much better that game runs when you swap to mouse and keyboard definitely for the sims. & You can resize items with controller & raise or lower em , I think it’s a combination of the triggers and bumpers, it’s been a long time since I’ve attempted to play with the controller.

The only downside to console resizing objects is you’d need to enter cheats, so no achievements. The loop hole would be grabbing a pre decorated room and placing from the gallery , given they only used non debug items in that build- you don’t need to enter cheats to use a house or room that used bb.moveobjects cheat. I have a couple that I’ve done on both pc (with tool) & on console (so no mods) & uploaded to the gallery to make everyone (my friends originally 😆) happy and can try building/decorating. Base game is on gamepass on Xbox.

weird i don't have to ctrl, or alt when resizing or raising/lowering objects. i literally just press 9 or 0 by itself, and with the brackets as well and the objects do what i want

Both the wall showers from university & snowy escape are functional in a 1 tile bathroom. Their entry points are left & right of the object, same as ladders . However the university wall shower has 3 entry points, left, right & center.
