The Traxxas Hoss was an RC truck that shocked me and maybe many RC enthusiasts. This RC looked similar to other Traxxas platforms currently on the market, but they made a few tweaks to it. Those few tweaks turned it into a serious basher beast! I had a lot of fun driving this truck for the test and for some backyard bashing runs, but it was, well, stock! We can’t have that. So Greg set off to build an Ultimate Traxxas Hoss. Traxxas has a ton of options available to customize the truck, so Greg started the ordering process and kept with a red, white and blue theme for many of the parts. What people don’t know is that traxxas metal axles have more resistance to torsion than their plastic ones so metal ones won’t just be more durable but also faster

I love Traxxas products, like you said always perfect fitment, and quality looks. I would like to see Traxxas do colored chassis. That would be sweet especially for builds like your Hoss!!! Well done so far👍👍

Great looking build. I keep breaking parts on my Hoss and that gives me a chance to upgrade. This is the route I’m going too, just not all at once.

Very nice build. I should do a video of my Hoss build. I went for more of the driving experience and tuned allot of things. Even went as far of getting rid of the center differential and installed a slipper clutch so would stop doing endless wheelies! But overall the Hoss are fairly solid vehicles, mine has seen the skatepark dozens of times now.

I love my hoss but I kept breaking drive shafts. Ive used stock, and all the upgrades versions. once i got the front to stop breaking 2 minutes into a bash the rear started breaking. Going to gather up the parts to try again this season. If not then I give uo and go full on crawler side of the hobby.

I got tekno springs for mine, out of all the parts they make with colors gtr shock springs are only available in white lol, the white looks good on yours tho, nice build 👍

The rear camber links look like they are on different hole on the shock tower

One of the rear camber links was in a different hole from the opposite side

Yup, just threw them on as they’ll be removed to install the driveshafts.

You did good but you forgot one thing dude change the ECM 4s like Traxxas maxx I bought 4s ecm on eBay for 80 bucks truck really fast the the 3s ecm it comes with burn up one week of having it brand new I love my Traxxas hoss one of my favorites other then skeeter it's a beast ass well

How does it run on 4s??? Or do you just run on 3s after the ecm swap

It runs good on 4s Traxxas Maxx ecm an when u put it in u have to trim little off to install and recalibrate the controller an that's it get fan for motor

It can run on 3s or 4s it's really fast on 4s
