Talked to Bill at the show yesterday. The man ended up running to the back mid conversation to bring out a small box filled with 15 or so of these type of jigs. He pulled two of them out and gave them to me. Two handmade and tied jigs by Mr. Herzog were definitely the coolest things I brought home yesterday.

Besides Bill showing how he creates his beautiful leadhead jig, he showed his jigging technique on the river. I consider his rod action, as he works his jig, to be perfect. Just by watching the video, you know he is going to catch fish because of his technique. This is the same technique I like to see when jig-casting the Sonic BaitFish. The 1/10 oz Sonic BaitFish would be an excellent choice on that river judging by the appearance of the river's current.

2 pound jig. Lol. Thankfully I came up with my own patterns. This guy is just putting stuff together like shooting a gun with his eyes closed! I respect your hustle but it’s all about Kurt Gowdy!
